NEW MATCH RULES
That in all competitions Members must not arrive at their swims other than via the assembly point stated in their fixture card.
That Members taking part in any competitions shall register/book in & pay the required entry fees to the match secretary or organizer prior to the draw or walk off.
That Members taking part in any competitions shall not previously ground-bait a swim prior to the starting signal (whistle).
Members, if already fishing the venue before the competition may enter provided they vacate their swim, removing all tackle & emptying any keepnets they have been using.
In the case of a “Rover” they are not allowed to fish the swim they had been fishing in earlier?
Members arriving late may enter the competition providing they register/book in & pay the required entry fees to the match secretary or organizer. A swim will then be drawn/allocated to them.
That no Member shall fish within 15 meters of another Member in 'Roving’ competitions, and in 'Pegged down' competitions, Members must fish within 1 meter of their drawn peg.
No spinning be allowed in competitions.
That unless otherwise stated, Members if wishing to weigh-in any fish must remain at their swims
No competition will be postponed, and if less than five Members attend a fixture, that fixture will be abandoned.
That Members may use different rods during competitions provided only one rod and one hook is in use at any one time. This rule shall be deemed not to apply to pike fishing where one rod is allowed using suitable dead-bait.
Plumbing of depth (without baited hooks) & setting up of terminal tackle is allowed prior to the starting signal.
The points system & start/finish times shall be as decided by the Match Secretary or organizer & agreed by the committee at the start of the match year.
Entry fees & allocation of any prize monies shall be as decided by the Match Secretary or organizer & agreed by the committee at the start of the match year.
In the case of any query/complain/dispute the Match Secretary’s decision is final.
